Charles River Announces 2020 Viral Safety and Viral Clearance Summit Dates - Case Study

Charles River is pleased to announce that the 5^th Annual Viral Safety and Viral Clearance Summit will take place at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman`s Wharf in San Francisco, California on October 6 – 7, 2020.

More than 110 attendees and speakers joined us for last year`s event, which was held at the same venue. They represented various industries including regulatory, service, and technology, as well as representatives from FDA/CBER.

A roster of experts presented on various topics such as gene therapy and cell therapy, continuous manufacturing, viral safety testing strategies, as well as miscellaneous topics such as vaccines, regulatory issues, and testing strategies.

Day one started with presentations on viral safety from a regulatory standpoint and continued with current trends in viral safety and clearance, as well as continuous processing. On day two, industry experts discussed cell and gene therapy and viral contamination, among other topics. Throughout the event, attendees and speakers were encouraged to ask questions and discuss the unique challenges they face within their viral safety and viral clearance programs.
