Chest Imaging: The Adaptix chest imaging device will offer truly mobile 3D imaging at the bedside for a cost and dose similar to existing 2D X-ray systems. Better visualisation than 2D X-ray of common conditions such as pulmonary edema, pneumothorax/hemothorax and more confident localization of lines and tubes.

The Adaptix dental imaging device offers low-dose, high-resolution, intraoral 3D imaging at the chair-side. Improved identification and characterization of caries lesions in 3D. Easier communication of the need for procedures to patients. Better assess unerupted teeth. Better assess impacted wisdom teeth. Provide pre-operative root-canal imaging to better identify multiple root canals in a single tooth prior to surgery. Potential for intra-operative root-canal imaging to check the placement of files and gutta-percha filler.

AdaptixNDE: in-house, portable, 3D inspection. 3D inspection facilitating enhanced assurance of component authenticity. In-house inspection* enabling accelerated testing to reduce stockholding period, and reduce working capital and exposure to price volatility risk. * Adaptix offers a 3D image in 60 seconds, compared to sending your parts away for an X-ray report from a test house with typical lead times of 6 weeks.

Allows for the transformation of NDE location, speed and economics. The next generation of aerospace requires the next generation of NDE. Analysis by the UK National Composites Centre (‘UK NCC’) has shown that the Adaptix technology matches Computed Tomography (‘CT’) in identifying failure modes relevant to composite aerostructures. The translation from healthcare to NDE solutions has won Adaptix multiple InnovateUK grants in the aerospace composite field for fixed and rotary wing solutions in manufacture and maintenance with interest and support from several aerospace primes.
