Key features of the aurum+ bed such as width adjustment, optional integrated weighing scales and adjustable safety rails provide a safe environment within which to improve the moving and handling of larger patients up to 440kg (69st). The aurum+ bariatric bed is compliant with the latest EN60601/2/52 medical standard. Of all the bariatric beds available, the aurum+ expandable bariatric hospital bed is one of the simplest to use.

The Bradshaw Bariatric Community Bed has been designed for use in the community, nursing and residential homes. The bed has been specifically engineered to cater safely for bariatric patients and has a safe working load of 320kg (50st). Featuring a three section, fully powered mattress platform, the bed is ideal for carers who have a bariatric patient in a carehome or those in their own residence.

Our Alternating Air Cushion has been designed to give very high-risk pressure relieving care to bariatric patients who suffer from pressure sores and general discomfort. The cover is made from a two-way stretch material which conforms to the contours of the body and is vapour permeable, water resistant, fire retardant and soft whilst still being durable. The cushions have an alternation cycle of the air cells in an ABAB pattern. The specially designed cover has the zip opening set inboard and underneath, ensuring the cushion is being used the correct side up and also minimises the risk of contamination.

The Bari Foam+ Mattress is an alternative to our dynamic air mattress and provides pressure relief for medium risk patients. The mattress is unique with its width adjustable feature to compliment the aurum bariatric bed. Width adjustment is achieved through two foam extension inserts which slot either side of the mattress when the bed is extended. The mattress is suitable for patients up to 320kg (50st) and is made up of a series of combustion modified foam to give the mattress its pressure relieving qualities.
