Nanobody (sdAb or VHH) is a promising next-generation therapeutic antibody technology for cancer immunotherapy and other applications. Nanobodies are distinguished from other conventional antibody formats by their unique properties of size, solubility, intrinsic stability, easy tailoring into pluripotent constructs, recognition of uncommon or hidden epitopes, binding into cavities or active sites of enzyme targets, ease and speed of drug discovery, and ease of manufacture. Biointron`shigh-throughput single B cell screening platform can screen 2*10^6 plasma B-cells from immunized animals.Antigen specific antibody-secreting cells can be isolated. lt allows detection of those very rare antibodies orpotential drugs with unique properties that are exceptionally hard to find.

Human antibody libraries can be made in virtually any display system. Phage display is the most widely used method for de novo discovery of human antibodies. BioIntron has used its own Phage Display platform to generate a naïve human scFv library. The library is constructed to use multiple “naïve” donors to increase the diversity and capacity. It can help biotech/biopharma to screening their potential antibody drug.

As a result of the advances in antibody discovery technologies in hybridoma, display libraries, Single B-cell sorting/sequencing and computational modeling, thousands of mAbs have been generated in antibody discovery campaigns. To rapidly find “best-in-class” antibody therapeutics, it has become essential to develop high throughput (HTP) processes that allow rapid assessment of antibodies for functional and molecular properties. BioIntron has developed a high throughput (HTP) platform to offer our customers the flexibility to rapidly express a large number of antibodies at various scale in HEK293/CHO cell.

With the current biotherapeutic market dominated by antibody molecules, bispecific antibodies represent a key component of the next-generation of antibody therapy. Bispecific antibodies can target two different antigens at the same time, such as simultaneously binding tumor cell receptors and recruiting cytotoxic immune cells. BioIntron has expressed thousands bispecific antibodies in 2020 with extensive experience in bispecific antibody production. BioIntron can perform any format bispecific antibody production requested by our client.
