EZ Cure Membrane is a highly purified porcine collagen (type I and III) resorbable membrane. Phylogenetically, porcine collagen is the closest to human collagen. It is the adapted synthetic bone graft matrix for tissue engineering.

Ideally, any biocompatible synthetic bone graft substitute material used to replace or augment graft material should become integrated with the surrounding bone tissue and ultimately be replaced by new healthy bone, as seen with autologous graft.
