EEG - Electroencephalography

Bionen - Subdermal Needle Electrodes

BIONEN Subdermal Needle Electrodes are made of stainless steel AISI 304, this material guarantees solidity, strength and flexibility. Grinding of the tip is optimized to guarantee a simple and painless skin penetration. Subdermal Needles feature low noise and impedance level for a clear and reliable signal.

Bionen - Disposable EEG Prewired Headcaps

Due to the increasing necessity to perform EEG examinations both in emergency and ICU or simply in suspicious infectious situations, BIONEN has developed a new line of disposable EEG headcaps. These new headcaps allow at the same time to perform a reliable EEG examination, to make a quick mounting on the patient and finally not to have to disinfect the device avoiding cross- contamination.

Bionen - EEG Prewired Headcups

The EEG headcaps have prewired electrodes positioned according to the 10-20 International Standard System on a fabric elastic cap perfectly fitting on everyone`s head. Our headcaps can be further customized with more electrodes and different montages. This system guarantees a drastic reduction of exam`s preparation time and costs.

EMG - Electromyography

Bionen - Concentric Needle Electrodes

Our needle electrodes are designed and manufactured to ensure high reliability during electromyographic examinations (EMG) for recording the electrical potentials that are generated in a muscle during its voluntary contraction. The needle cannula is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, a material that stands out for its high resistance and flexibility, fundamental characteristics for a good use of the electrode. Different product lines are available with the sensor made of different high-performance materials.

Bionen - µPatterned Electrode

The μPatterned Electrodes, thanks to their interdigitated design together with  micrometric inter-rail gap, allow the delivery of a shallow but effective electrical stimulation limited to the epidermis, selectively  activating the Aδ fibres, while avoiding costimulation of the deeper Aß fibres.
