BUHLMANN Diagnostics Corp products
Flow CAST - Kinase Inhibition Assays
Flow CAST® Support in Drug Development: Inhibition of Basophil Activation is a Surrogate Biomarker for the Activity of Kinase Inhibitors.
Calprotectin Assays (BÜHLMANN fCAL®)
Quantum Blue - Calprotectin Lateral Flow Assay
The Quantum Blue® Calprotectin lateral flow assay combines the ease and speed of lateral flow technology (using a highly specific monoclonal antibody to calprotectin), with full quantification by means of a small, telephone sized reading device. The Quantum Blue® Reader analyzes the signal intensity from the test and control line to give a quantitative value and is standardized with the BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA.
Autoimmunity
Quantum Blue - Serum Calprotectin- sCAL Kit
BÜHLMANN MRP8/14 ELISA and Quantum Blue® MRP8/14 are for Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures in the US. MRP8/14 Assays (myeloid-related protein) (aka serum calprotectin, sCAL, S100A8/S100A9)
Cellular Allergy
Flow CAST - Cellular Allergy Stimulation Test
The Flow CAST®(Cellular Allergy Stimulation Test) is intended for the determination of basophil activation in whole blood samples by flow cytometry. Our unique marker combination – CCR3 and CD63 – combines the simple gating properties for basophil detection by CCR3 with the solid application of the proven activation marker CD63 in one. Thanks to its easy protocol and smart marker combination the first results can be obtained within one hour – perfect conditions for laboratories.
CAST - Food, Drug, Inhalant & Venom Allergens
CAST® Food, Drug, Inhalant & Venom allergens are for Research Use Only in the US. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Clinical Chemistry
BUHLMANN - Angiotensin Converting Enzyme
In vivo, ACE catalyzes the conversion of Angiotensin I to Angiotensin II and inactivates bradykinin during regulating blood pressure via Renin-Angiotensin-System. Elevated levels of serum ACE have been measured in patients suffering from various disorders. They often indicate a poor prognosis or rapid progression of the disease. Elevated serum ACE levels are reported in granulomatous-inflammatory diseases such as Sarcoidosis and Mixed-Connective-Tissue Disease (MTCD), Nephropathies associated with Diabetes and Glomerulonephritis, Cardiovascular diseases such as left ventricular hypertrophy, brain and myocardial infarction. The main application is Sarcoidosis. Other areas of application are Chronic Berylliosis and monitoring of compliance under ACE inhibitor therapy.
