CBM uses materials of well known reliability for the production of its containers, conforming to the requirements of the current regulations.

CBM aluminium containers are made of a Magnesium-Aluminium alloy. The aluminium requires a special process in order to withstand the aggression of corrosive agents. This process, known as anodizing, brings a surface coating that makes the aluminium resistant to attack from water steam. By means of anodizing, it is possible to obtain covers in different colours. In this way, it becomes possible to differentiate the container destination department according to the colour of the lid.

As well as the use of the classical anodizing process, CBM manufactures its own containers with a process called hard anodizing. This treatment improves the mechanical surface properties of the aluminium, giving the container a brownish colour.

SST2200B and SST1700B are equipped with an integrated USB port and USB pen drive for recording and traceability of the cycles. SST2200B and SST1700B control system is provided with different apps for the reduction of electricity consumption reduction. Stand-by app will reduce the waste of electricity during non using phases.
