CatheterMelt - Long Guidewire Coating Machine
This machine is mainly used in the long guidewire hydrophilic coating process. Currently, there are only two solutions available on the market for long guidewire coating: either the machine height must be increased indefinitely or multiple segmented coatings must be applied. The former solution requires ultra-long UV lamps and machines for irradiation, and imposes strict plant height requirements. Additionally, the tip of the guidewire is prone to swinging during the coating process. The latter solution involves coating overlap at the joints, resulting in uneven guidewire diameter and a complex operation process. We have pioneered and successfully developed a third solution globally: the Folding Guidewire Coating Machine. With a standard height of 2000mm, this machine can coat guidewires up to 3200mm in length with ease.
