Vision and Values
Vision: Setting the global standard for listening and responding
We constantly strive to develop this mindset. Only when we think from a user’s perspective – understanding the full context of their lives and not just their medical condition – can we develop solutions that really meet their needs and move care forward.
Corporate Responsibility
Corporate Responsibility
We've been committed to the United Nation's Global Compact since 2002, and we contribute to relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals. We do this by empowering people, acting respectfully, and minimising our footprint.
Empowering people
We contribute to better health outcomes and the fundamental right to health by innovating safe products, supporting beyond expectations, fighting for better care and community engagement.
Acting respectfully
We treat people with the same high level of respect throughout our operations. This means we condemn corruption, uphold high safety standards, and support human and labour rights at all sites and throughout our supply chain.
Minimising footprint
We are a growing company. This means increased production output and, consequently, increased impact on the environment. That's why we're committed to minimising our environmental footprint while growing.
Our way of doing business
The Coloplast Business Ethical Standards (Coloplast BEST) is our Code of Conduct and our guide leading the way to global excellence when it comes to operating an ethical company.
100% renewable electricity by 2019
Electricity accounts for more than 60% of our total energy consumption in production. To support SDG 13 in taking urgent action to combat climate change, we are using renewable energy for 100% of electricity consumption in production. This effectively means that we exceed a scientific target per the Paris Accord.
