Consensus Orthopedics products
CS2 Acetabular Cup System
Consensus - Acetabular Cup System
The CS2 Acetabular Cup System has evolved from the clinically proven Consensus® Hip System. The roughened titanium porous coating is manufactured from sintered irregular beads to enhance initial stability as well as long-term biological fixation. The optional flared rim design improves the press-fit in the highest quality bone. Instruments include both straight and offset reamers and shell impactor. Neutral, hooded, and lateralized cross-linked polyethylene liners are available for up to 36mm heads.
Consensus Hip Systems
UniSyn - Hip System
The Consensus Orthopedics UniSyn™ Hip System has been designed with total flexibility in mind. All components are completely interchangeable. This allows for independent adjustment of both the size and orientation of the heads, bodies and stems. All three components can be individually fitted to specifically match the patients’ anatomic structure. The UniSyn Hip System features patented connection technology that allows the surgeon to independently fit the diaphysis and metaphysis, and then select the neck component that will best restore leg length, offset and anteversion of the patient’s hip joint. 59 Head Centers ¦ Infinite Version Control ¦ Titanium Plasma Surface
Consensus - Taperset Hip System
The TaperSet Hip System combines design enhancements that restore leg length, stability, offset and ROM precisely and reliably. The TaperSet Hip System features a reduced distal profile that addresses proximal/distal mismatch.
Consensus - Hip System
The Consensus Hip System was developed from well established and clinically proven design principles. The Consensus Hip System restores the original anatomic position of the femoral shaft to the acetabulum. The stem is designed to facilitate restoration of a wide variety of femoral geometries. The position and angle of the femoral stem taper with respect to the femoral shaft and lesser trochanter is set at the neutral average of all femoral geometry. The Consensus stem incorporates a compound proximal wedge (CPW) design. The stem is tapered in the sagittal, coronal, and transverse plane. The effect of the CPW design improves load transfer both the cementless and cemented stem applications.
Consensus Knee Systems
Consensus - Mobile Bearing Knee System
The Consensus Mobile Bearing Knee System has been developed on the foundation of the Consensus Knee System with its proven clinical experience and intelligent engineering. The consensus knee System has expanded its implant offerings to this mobile bearing design to reduce wear and provide surgeons with a dual articulation and inserts are designed to be compatible with Consensus Knee femoral and patellar components.
