DYLOC is a monofilament of a thermoplastic polyether-ester elastomer. DYLOC is soft and very manageable. It ties very much like silk as the stretch in the suture allows for the material to hold its knot. NOTE: As DYLOC is a monofilament polyether and has elastic properties, care should be taken when using it as a subcuticular stitch. Do not pull tightly or over stretch as it may recoil when being removed.

TEFLEX is a white braided polyester material which has been treated. It has been produced in the white form to allow the surgeon to use it as a subcutaneous suture.

DYFLEX is braided polyester manufactured to produce high tensile strength with a uniform diameter and it is green in colour. This is a braided material which has been treated to allow a softness and smoothness in the handling properties of the suture.

POLYFLEX is a black braided polyester material and it has been treated to enhance its handling properties.

DYSILK is a natural fiber and has been manufactured to a high standard. It has been specially braided to allow ease of handling.
