A wide variety of thermoforming discs are available for the Erkodent^® line of countertop thermoforming units, suitable for all dental thermoforming applications. The most popular thermoforming disc materials for the fabrication of bite splints, nightguards, and retainers are Erkoloc-Pro (with a hard copolyester outer layer and a soft polyurethane inner layer) and hard copolyester Erkodur. Soft and semi-soft Erkoflex ethylvinylacetate discs are also available in various thicknesses and colors for the fabrication of single and multilayered PlaySafe®-type sports mouthguards.
