Xenetix® is a non-ionic monomeric, iodinated contrast agent associated with balanced and stabilized hydrophilicity, low osmolality, low viscosity and high water-solubility. It is used in radiological examinations, and particularly in CT. Xenetix® is supplied in 3 different concentrations: 250, 300 and 350 mg I/mL. Xenetix® is approved for use in adults and children in a wide range of indications, including intravenous (IV) urography, head and whole body CT and intra-arterial (IA) or IV digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and can be used via several routes of administration; local prescribing information should be consulted. It is approved in more than 60 countries.
