All Know Medical’s fistula needles have a siliconized needle with triple back-cut and Back-eye, Rotating knurled wings to ensure a perfect grip for the operators and comfort for the patients, a tube with assembled a clamp and a luer lock connection. Know Medical Offer different gauges: 15G, 16G and 17G in different conformations: Standard Fistula needle, Security Fistula needle, this model guarantee, once activated the security system, the complete shielding of the needle, limiting the risk of needle-stick injuries. Fistula needle with Y junction, this model guarantee, thanks to a Y junction, the possibility to dialyze with the Single Needle procedure. 

Fistula bandage are sold in single pack, only one piece per blister (for use in single needles dialysis) or two pieces per blister (for use in standard dialysis). Bandage can be hypoallergenic cotton or in self-adhesive fixing that has no need of plaster for fixing patient arm. They can have two different swabs: one is square and one is round which drop after drop swell more and more giving compression to the fistula. 

Know Medical offers a wide range of drainage bellows, who propose also in the variant of a KIT including redon catheter, with or without Trocar needle. The bellows are available with or without drain bag and in various model of negative pressure. Know Medical’s Bellows have no return valve. Also the Replacing bellows are available in the case that the drained serum will be more that the bellow capacity.

Know Medical offer High Vacuum bottle for the wound drainage, in the versions: 200ml – 400ml – 600ml.  Know Medical offer also the possibility to supply a drainage Kit composed by the high vacuum bottle and a Redon catheter, with or without trocar needle.  In addition, we offer also the replacing bottle, in the case that the drained serum will be more that the bottle capacity.

Know Medical’s production range for the Preparation devices of chemotherapy drugs comprehend: Spike, Micro-Spike, Vial Adapter and needle less connectors.  All Know Medical’s devices for Preparation of chemotherapy drugs are Closed Circuit devices for the maximum protection of the Operations and the Patients.  Our Needle-less Valve:  We mostly use B-site Needle-less valve Made in Italy, certificated at the maximum levels.  Our Spike:  Know Medical’s Spike are the results of research and our experience in order to guarantee the maximum comfort of the operators and the best penetration into the vial, avoiding the fragmentation of the bungs into the vial and the annex problems.

Know Medical offers Coiled Extension sets in various diameters and lengths, made of: PVC -DEHP-Free, PE (Polyethylene) and PUR (Polyurethane), with luer lock connections.

Know Medical produce Para-Thoracentesis Kits made of bag, tube Ø3x4,1mm or Ø4,6x6,8mm with the three way stopcock, Luer lock syringe 60ml and needles. The differences from one set to the other depend on bag volume (from 2000ml to 10000ml) and on needles type (for paracentesis and thoracentesis, hypodermic, canula or Verres), number, size and lenght.

Colour coded butterfly wings by size (from 19G to 27G) for easy identification. Sterile and pyrongenfree. Disposable and packed in single blister. Safety winged infusion scalp vein sets are assembled with quality, short, sharp and atraumatic needle. After infusion, safety needle shield is slided over the needle until it is locked position. Needle is isolated and securely locked into a closed system in order to minimizes the risk of needle stick injuries.

The flash back chamber allows quick visualization of venous return. Color codes as for ISO international rules. Needle cover prevent accidental damage to needle or catheter. For each size (except for 26G) is available the obturator with the same colur code of the respective IV cannula.The obturator prevent the blood clots into the catheter during the interruption of the administration.

Usually the straight needle is used for injection of bolus, the rinsing of the interior chamber of the port-a-cath or for functional tests. Instead, the curved needle is used for medium-term infusion (30-60 minutes). The Huber needles have different lengths depending on the application or the final choice of the doctor according to the type of implanted port or on the patient. Needles of 15mm: thin patients and/or low-profile port; Needles of 20mm: patients of standard size and/or standard and low-profile port; Needles of 25mm or more: for overweight patients and/or standard port or higher dimensions.
