Marsi Bionics develops the most innovative technology in gait exoskeletons, ranging from single-joint active braces (active knee) to complete exoskeletons from trunk to foot. The differential technology of Marsi Bionics are the ARES smart joints. These are robotic joints that mimic natural muscle function. It was developed during the ATLAS project (Ministry of Science and Innovation, DPI2010-18702) and has been patented internationally (ES 201330882, EP 14810160 , US 10016331B2).

Marsi Care is a unique facility for cross-sectional, multidisciplinary scientific research, an international reference centre for research and innovation in alternative therapies based on emerging technologies. It is a public-private collaboration project between the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the technology-based company Marsi Bionics, in which other international public research bodies (hospitals, foundations, universities) and technology or health sector companies collaborate. Such a multidisciplinary public-private partnership will offer the most reliable diagnosis and innovative therapies for neurological diseases. In addition, research will allow the use of technology to be extended to new diseases and to improve existing products.
