Infection Control System

The Infection Control Robot is an autonomous system that automatically disinfects designated areas based on pre-programmes. It represents cutting edge technology to minimise HAI’s (hospital acquired infections).  It can integrate one or more of three disinfection methods: ultraviolet, vaporized hydrogen peroxide, and air filtration. It boasts autonomous navigation technology and autonomous movement. Hospital staff apply the most appropriate disinfection mode according to different scenarios or requirements, ensuring staff & patient safety. Customisable settings means regular, efficient and accurate disinfection and epidemic prevention in indoor environments within one or more rooms or departments or complex building layouts.

Hospital Patient Guidance Systems

Patient Guidance Robot

The virtual robotic guide takes the reception guidance station a step further! All of the hospital departmental knowledge and clinical information, based on the same hospital navigational software, but combined with a robot. This means it can actually accompany the patient. It is particularly useful in treatment areas with higher risk of radioactive exposure, helping to reduce ongoing staff exposure. It represents a virtual assistant medical staff, guiding the patient's consultation process, including front desk registration, information entry, and escorting the patient to the treatment area. It is even capable of instructional animated explanations for patients, explaining the environment and the diagnostic or therapy treatment they will be receiving.

Patient Guidance Reception Station

A virtual assistant/reception guide with built-in clinical knowledge. It can be set in A&E departments, main receptions, departmental receptions and ward stations and is particularly useful in treatment areas with higher risks of radioactive exposure, quarantined areas and protects staff from ongoing exposure. It is pre-programmed with detailed navigational knowledge of the hospital for patient guidance. Additionally, it possesses clinical procedure guidance and other hospital information. It is capable of reading a patient’s identity using identification such as RFID, fingerprint, facial recognition or QR code. For avoidance of doubt, the virtual assistant is even capable of clinical simulation: enquiring, through dialogue, about patient symptoms or conditions and recommending appropriate departments. Based on a medical knowledge database it concludes conditions with above 90% accuracy. Ultimately, the system is designed to ease pressure off receptionists and guidance nurses in busy hospitals or high patient flow environments, contributing to the efficient smooth running of patient care.

Logistical Systems

Regulated Pharmaceuticals Delivery Robot

The intelligent mobile medicine cabinet management system is based on the robotic distribution system. It strictly abides by the relevant drug regulations or hospital policy. This robot can be used in anaesthetics to ensure the timely supply of pharmaceuticals on-demand, while maintaining traceability and records of anesthesia use. This is achieved through real-time checks of each doctor's usage and empty bottle/vial recovery.

Medical Consumables Delivery Robot

The medical consumables management system can be used in the operating theatre department or other clinical treatment areas such as cath labs. It allows medical consumables (implants or single use instruments) usually held in a dedicated storage area and sometimes demanded in more than one operating room to be available, thereby avoiding delays or minimizing staff time. The system is connected with HIS (Hospital Information System) to order and automate distribution between the surgery and the secondary warehouse. It can achieve closed-loop traceability of eg implants from storage to post-operative use.
