Mini focused X-ray tube suited for higher power requirements. Our design leverages direct anode water cooling which prolongs life while keeping stabilization time shorter. Our tubes are fully radiation shielded and high voltage insulated. A variety of target materials are available which can support your unique requirements.

The Aquachill and Windchill actively cooled X-ray sources are perfectly suited for inline X-ray inspection applications, with increased X-ray power enabling increased line speed and throughput. The higher flux output enables image acquisition times to reduce dramatically, allowing for faster and more accurate inspection of a wider range of materials. The Aquachill and Windchill sources extend the power range of MXR’s Minifocus Packaged Tubes from 50W up to 150W, while also increasing the safe ambient maximum temperature. The industry-standard Minifocus Packaged Tubes have been rigorously tested and proven to be reliable and effective.

The Micro X-ray integrated microfocus X-ray source“Microbox” is designed for ultimate convenience. The Microbox has a compact design offering a small focal spot with short FOD for optimal magnification, enabling greater contrast for your images. Our integrated unit includes an X-ray tube, multiple power supplies, and a controller, all operated using APIs or our Windows® based graphical user interface. The unit only requires 24VDC power.

The Lightbright is an X-ray tube designed for customers that require maximum flux, short FOD and a wide beam angle. This end window XRF tube enables a tight source/sample/detector geometry to optimize the amount of usable flux, allowing you to obtain high-quality spectra in less time. The Lightbright also include an integrated O-ring groove for compatibility with vacuum and Helium purge enabled XRF spectrometers.

Ideally suited for end users wanting a plug and play solution. These tubes are fully radiation shielded, high voltage isolated and include a high voltage cable and filament wire. The nickel plated bronze packaging provides radiation isolation as well as excellent thermal properties, enabling continuous operation, without compromise.
