Bovilis Huskvac
Bovilis Huskvac is a vaccine used for immunisation against husk or lungworm infection in cattle. Bovilis Huskvac is highly effective and important for the development of immunity. Despite the fact that Bovilis Huskvac is still available, a high number of farmers have discontinued the use of the vaccine, and a sharp increase in husk cases throughout the country especially in adult cattle has been reported. Vaccination against husk is a vital component in a cattle worm control strategy. Bovilis Huskvac may only be prescribed by your veterinary surgeon from whom advice should be sought. Amfipen LA 100mg/ml suspension for injection
Amfipen LA contains 100mg ampicillin (as Ampicillin Anhydrous PhEur) per ml. For uses, dosage, contra-indications and warnings, see datasheet. Amfipen LA is for the treatment of diseases or secondary infections due to the following bacteria sensitive to ampicillin in dogs, cats, cattle, pigs and sheep and where prolongation of activity from a single injection is required: Streptococcus spp., Actinomyces pyogenes, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus spp. Amfipen LA may only be prescribed and administered by your veterinary surgeon from whom advice should be sought. Ovipast Plus
An opaque fluid vaccine containing formalin killed cells expressing iron regulated antigens from the epidemiologically most important serotypes of Pasteurella haemolytica and Pasteurella trehalosi in buffered physiological saline and adsorbed onto aluminium hydroxide. Thiomersal is included as a preservative. For the active immunisation of sheep as an aid in the control of pasteurellosis caused by M. haemolytica and P. trehalosi. The vaccine may be used as an aid in the control of pneumonic pasteurellosis in sheep of all ages from a minimum age of 3 weeks and in the control of systemic pasteurellosis in weaned fattening and breeding sheep.
Nobivac Bb for Cats
Recent research into respiratory disease in cats has identified a bacterium, called Bordetella bronchiseptica, that is increasingly being recognised as a risk to the cat population, particularly those in multicat environments including boarding and breeding catteries and rescue shelters. In addition contact with dogs can also lead to infection with Bordetella bronchiseptica. Nobivac Bb for Cats is licensed for the active immunisation of cats, of 1 month of age or older, to reduce clinical signs of Bordetella bronchiseptica associated upper respiratory tract disease.
