NDI PolarisVega - Optical Tracker for Augmented Reality Applications
Our specialized optical tracker, the Polaris Vega VT combines accurate optical measurement and live video streaming; these capabilities can be used for developing augmented reality and machine vision for OEM surgical system workflows. As with all Polaris optical trackers, the Polaris Vega VT can track OEM surgical instruments via navigation markers. The HD video camera provides a live view of the instruments (and procedure occurring within the measurement volume) using a third-party streaming client.
NDI PolarisVega - Versatile Optical Tracker for Diverse OEM Surgical Applications
The Polaris Vega ST is a versatile optical tracker that can provide trusted measurements in an array of OEM-supported surgical applications, delivering accurate and reliable 3D tracking data. Tracking is achieved via navigation markers that can be attached to OEM surgical instruments such as probes, shavers, awls, drills, microdebriders, and more.
NDI PolarisVega - Premier Optical Tracker for OEM Robotic Surgery Systems
The Polaris Vega XT combines unrivalled measurement accuracy, high-speed tracking, and low latency facilitating easy integration of 3D tracking within surgeon-controlled workflows, autonomous OEM robotic surgery systems, and applications. When used as a component of an OEM robotic-assisted surgical system, the Polaris Vega XT can track the positions of the robot base and end-effector in 3D space via attached navigation markers. Markers can also be attached to handheld OEM surgical instruments. The Polaris Vega XT can track the robot, surgical instruments, and patients in real time relative to each other within the same coordinate system, during the same procedure. The positions and orientations of each tracked object(s) are uniquely identified by their distinct marker configurations, and instantly localized and visualized within the OEM host interface.
Electromagnetic Tracking
Aurora - Ready-to-Use Tools
Aurora ready-to-use tools include everything required to begin tracking right out of the box. Designed with speed and ease of integration and use in mind, these tools are an excellent introduction to the Aurora electromagnetic tracking solution during research applications and the exploratory phase of OEM research and development. No assembly, configuration, or calibration are required. (Note: Aurora ready-to-use tools are not intended for medical use.)
Aurora - Electromagnetic Sensors
Aurora electromagnetic 5DOF and 6DOF sensors can be embedded into OEM medical instruments such as catheters, endoscopes, and ultrasound probes. One of our sensors measures just 0.3 mm in diameter—the smallest on the market—for integration into a guidewire or at the tip of a needle. The embedded EM sensor is what allows the OEM medical instrument to be localized and visualized as it’s navigated against patient imaging during in-vivo procedures. No line of sight to the sensor is required.
