In May 2014 Water Street Healthcare Partners, Chicago, USA, has committed equity to both acquire a majority position in Orgentec and invest in future acquisitions and initiatives that will build the company into a global leader of specialty diagnostics products. The first step on the way to expand our global position and to grow our portfolio of tests was the merger with Corgenix Medical Corporation, Denver, USA. Corgenix is a leader in the development and manufacturing of specialized diagnostic kits for immunology disorders, vascular diseases (including the world’s only non-blood-based test for aspirin effect, AspirinWorks®), bone and joint disorders.

Passion and RecognitionAt ORGENTEC Diagnostika we often are often asked about our “house artist”. The style of his paintings is unmistakeable, catching your eye as soon as you enter the building. They are powerful and distinct in composition: full of life, fun, and joy. The artist who produced these paintings is Roman Schmelter. His surreal imagery represents a central element of our corporate identity and his paintings can be seen on our web site and our product brochures.
