The Aktivitas Pflege®concept is based on a humanistic way of life, in which respect for the personality of a person and the development of their individual possibilities and abilities are in the foreground.

The basics of back-friendly work, how to use small aids and lifting aids, and an activating way of working are taught. If possible, the training should take place with the entire team of nursing staff.

There are many situations throughout the day where a patient, a resident or an immobile person may wish to change position, assisted by a caregiver.

In the Petermann intensive training, clear goals are set and sustainably achieved. Determining, uniformly imparting and deepening existing basic knowledge in the sub-areas of moving in bed or transfers. A sustainable knowledge base is created here. The participants learn to assign what they have learned to the respective patient/resident, to apply it together and to guide the non-participating nurses in order to ensure a common, uniform approach.
