The Polaroid I-1 Instant Camera is a contemporary version of the classic instant film cameras. It incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, allowing seamless integration with a smartphone app for enhanced functionality. Technologically advanced, the camera features a scanning aperture shutter equipped with five-zone taking optics, auto exposure capabilities, and a sophisticated multi-zone IR ranging system. Additionally, the Polaroid I-1 is designed with a color-corrected LED flash ring to ensure optimal lighting conditions. Pivot International’s subsidiary, Wideblue, was instrumental in the mechanical, optical, electronics, and software design of the camera, which is fully engineered for high volume production, catering to the needs of modern photography enthusiasts.

Peek Retina is a mobile phone-based ophthalmoscope designed for field use by healthcare professionals such as nurses and physicians to diagnose eye diseases. Pivot International’s subsidiary, Wideblue, was responsible for the optical design of the Peek Retina, utilizing Zemax software to enhance its optical performance. Additionally, Wideblue focused on the product’s aesthetics and ergonomics to ensure compatibility with various mobile phones. Their services extended to providing low-cost manufacturing solutions, effective supply chain management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The product’s innovative design was recognized with a European Product Design Award for Best Design for Humanity.
