Preventis QuantOn Cal® is pioneering point-of-care diagnostics through QuantOn® Technology, the innovative combination of rapid test and app. Calprotectin - rapid differentiation in unclear intestinal complaints: Calprotectin is considered an important inflammation marker in the diagnosis and treatment of complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. Close monitoring helps to monitor the effectiveness of therapy and thus increases its safety. Test principle: The QuantOn Cal® testing system consists of a rapid test that quantitatively detects calprotectin in stool and a smartphone app that evaluates the result of the rapid test. The result is automatically transmitted to the supervising healthcare professional. QuantOn Cal® app: In addition, you need the QuantOn Cal® app to perform the rapid test, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play Store. Immunological Rapid Test

The detection of hemoglobin in stool can be used as a marker for gastrointestinal bleeding for colorectal cancer screening. Blood in the stool can come from tumors or polyps in the intestine, among other sources. If hemoglobin has been detected, a colonoscopy must be performed to determine whether the bleeding is actually from a tumor or a precancerous lesion. With a colonoscopy, the stool test has been shown to reduce the risk of dying from colorectal cancer. The Preventis SmarTest® FIT Home test system consists of a rapid immunological test and a smartphone app. The rapid test detects human blood in stool using gold-conjugated anti-hemoglobin antibodies, and the app quantitatively evaluates the result of the rapid test based on the color intensity of the control and test bands. The result is automatically displayed and saved on the smartphone.

Preventis SmarTest® Calprotectin Home

Calprotectin is considered an important inflammation marker in the diagnosis and treatment of complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. Close monitoring helps to monitor the effectiveness of therapy and thus increases its safety. Preventis SmarTest® Calprotectin Home is the successor of QuantOn Cal® and is also based on the unique QuantOn® Technology, an innovative combination of rapid test and app. Test principle: The test system consists of a rapid test that detects calprotectin in stool and a smartphone app that quantitatively evaluates the result of the rapid test by scanning the test cassette. This result is linked to the answers of a clinically validated questionnaire and transmitted to the treating healthcare professional on request.

Immunological Occult Blood Test

The immunological occult blood test PreventID® CC is a rapid test for self-testing for the qualitative detection of the valuable red blood pigment hemoglobin in stool as a marker for intestinal bleeding. The result can be read after 10 minutes. According to the WHO, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer worldwide, with approximately 1.9 million new cases in 2020. In Germany alone, about 61,000 people are diagnosed with colorectal cancer every year, of which almost 25,000 die each year. The majority of these deaths could be prevented with appropriate screening, because colorectal cancer detected at an early stage is almost always curable!
