Chlorine Gas from Cylinders/ Tonners at regulated pressure passes through a Flow Control Valve, Rotameter/Flowmeter, Moisture-Trap and Check Valve to a Packed Absorption Tower where it gets uniformly mixed with the incoming water. The chlorine solution is then discharged to the point of application [normally discharged into a sump or reservoir at an elevation below the Absorption Tower only]. The Flow meter directly indicates the amount of chlorine consumed. It is very important that the required water flow to the Absorption Tower, should be constant and continuous at the time of operation for safety reasons.

The potential leak areas in a Cylinder [capacity of around 85 kgs/100 Kgs ] are Leaks from Valves, Leaks in the Cylinder. This Emergency Kit ‘A’ has the tools and fixtures to hold back / arrest leaks in these potential areas.

This Emergency Kit ‘B’ has the tools and fixtures to hold back/arrest leaks in these potential areas. Easy to handle tools and fixtures enable the users to stop/ handle dangerous leaks in the shortest possible time. Moreover, clear Instruction Manual is provided with each Kit, to guide the user with step by step procedures in handling these tools and fixtu arresting/containing the leak.
