Commode designed for disabled or aged bariatric patients. The reinforced construction and wide seating base make this product ideal for the toilet need of patients who would have difficulty in transfer to the bathroom, or for whom such transfers would be dangerous.

Specially designed and constructed to cater for the needs of patients weighing up to 500 kg (1100 lbs), the HLF574 has double twin-pedestal hydraulics, and an all electrically operated platform. Hands-free trendelenburg or reverse trendelenburg can be made safely and smoothly if required, as well as giving cardiac seating position at all bed heights. Siderails - pneumatically weight-compensated - fold completely under the platform to ensure zero transfer gap when transferring patients. Patient lock-out is available, central locking 8" castors are standard and the bed is available with Savion pressure reducing MFFP mattresses, or higher density Visco elastic foam mattresses.

Fitted with the stylish Galileo blow-molded head and foot boards and plastic stylized trolley covers, the Galileo-Hydraulic offers a manual hydraulic height adjustment mechanism, choice of 2 or 4 section platforms, with pneumatically operated back-rest or back-rest and knee-break, manually operated trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg including cardiac sitting position, choice of castors including 5" (125mm) or 6" (150mm) with individual braking or central locking, and a wide choice of Savion accessories. Side-rails are collapsible, fully complying with modern safety and entrapment regulations. The bed is fitted with full-width ABS head and foot boards, pedal operated hydraulic height adjustment, adjustable backrest and knee-break / gatch controlled by pneumatic gas springs and manual trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg with 5-position ratchet locks. Many options and accessories - including all electric operation, central locking castors etc. - are available.
