The clinical waste bin was especially developed for the collection of infectious waste (hazardous waste). As KAB 360 it complies with the requirements of UN standard 4H2, and as KAB 660, 770 and 1100 FD it complies with UN standard UH50H. Each KAB bin features a triangular lid lock to prevent unauthorised access. One of the characteristics of the KAB bin is that, unlike all SULO 4wheeled bin systems, it does not have a water drain on the bottom of the bin, thus making it completely watertight. It also features a circumferential rubber lip between the body and the lid, which seals the KAB bin additionally. The KAB can be recognised by its yellow colour and the two-colour hot foil stamping (black and white). Each KAB 660, 770 and 1100 FD also has a serial number that is confirmed by an individual certificate.
