Our trained technicians are on-hand to support your surgical team by ensuring they have all of the surgical instruments and equipment necessary for the procedure. Surgical Solutions can provide the disposable surgical equipment needed for your facility’s procedures and reduce open and unused waste. Single-use disposables provide the convenience of having a new instrument readily available instead of repairing, cleaning and sterilizing a reusable device. Use of disposables can lower the risk of surgical site infections (SSI) for patients resulting from improperly cleaned instruments. Surgical Solutions’ CRCST-certified technicians will prepare for each case by testing all equipment and instrumentation needed for that case and by pulling the required disposables in accordance with physician preference cards. We will manage surgical disposable ordering and on-site inventory, unburdening your surgical team.

Bypassing the Capital Budget Process: Having access to the proper equipment for each procedure is crucial to physician satisfaction and successful patient outcomes. Surgical Solutions can deliver the instrumentation and equipment to support all scope-related procedures in the OR, specialty and endoscopy suites through our surgical capital solutions. New Equipment: Our streamlined process for obtaining new equipment will provide quicker turnaround for the equipment to reach your facility. Surgical Solutions will help evaluate the equipment needs for your facility along with your surgical team. We will then assist with the procurement and delivery of the necessary equipment. Most importantly, new equipment is bundled into Surgical Solutions’ fixed fee per procedure pricing.

Surgical Solutions assumes the logistical process and cost of laparoscopic and endoscopic surgical instrument repairs and scope repairs. Our scope repair technicians are responsible for inspecting and testing each piece of instrumentation before it is used. They are highly trained to identify malfunctioning scopes and damaged instrumentation and will initiate the repair process and loaner acquisition. By managing the entire surgical instrument repair process, we can help your facility’s efficiency and throughput.

Post-procedure, our technicians will assist in removing the used instrumentation and transport it to SPD. The decontamination process begins with thorough removal of all bioburden and washing based on the type of instrumentation. The instruments are inspected and packed for their specific sterilization process. Our knowledge of the various sterilization techniques aids in your facility’s endoscope reprocessing and infection control.
