APIS®, the first product made with MX Technology, is a bioengineered wound product for the management of chronic and acute wounds. APIS covers and protects the wound, absorbs exudate, and creates a moist wound environment. Invitro data demonstrates that APIS reduces bacterial load, decreases MMP-9, and triggers the release of growth factors, which has been shown to instill balance in the wound microenvironment and progress the wound towards healing.
