Orthopedic Cast Padding
Tex-Care - Orthopedic Cast Padding
With orthopedic cast padding, it’s possible to increase comfort and reduce skin irritation after a patient’s casting. Tex-Care’s orthopedic cast padding options are designed to layer over the stockinette and under the cast material. This method of layering provides sufficient cushion and protection. Tex-Care supplies both viscose and polyester under cast padding. Both options have low bio-burden allowing for a quicker and higher rate of sterility. Our natural and synthetic cast padding options are easy to tear and are suitable for use with all casting materials. Tex-Care’s non-sterile orthopedic cast padding is available in multiple widths. Learn more about natural viscose and polyester cast padding options for your casting needs.
Surgical Extremity Drapes
Tex-Care - Cotton Extremity Stockinette
Cotton extremity stockinettes are used for barrier protection when handling patient limbs. Often used during amputations, cotton extremity stockinettes are also ideal for use in orthopedic surgery, or as under-cast liners. Cotton extremity stockinettes by TexCare are hand-rolled, which allows for faster, easier application during procedures, minimizing the amount of contact between clinician and patient. Tex-Care extremity stockinettes are made of 100% domestic cotton. Soft and comfortable, these cotton stockinettes conform well to extremities.
Tex-Care - Surgical Extremity Drapes - Impervious Stockinette
Impervious stockinettes by Tex-Care Medical are tubular extremity drapes used to isolate limbs during orthopedic surgical procedures. Manufactured with silicone-free elastomeric film bags, Tex-Care Medical’s impervious stockinettes help act as a barrier to fluids and contaminants, reducing the risk of infection. The interior textured polyester knit liner helps keep patient extremities warmer and collect fluids during surgical procedures. Synthetic impervious stockinettes by Tex-Care Medical are lightweight, non-sterile, and easy to assemble into a kit for shipping.
Orthopedic Stockinette
Tex-Care - Cotton Tubular Stockinette
Cotton tubular stockinettes can be used as the “base layer” under a cast or multi-layered compression, and for mild compression to aid in wound care. Tex Care’s cotton stockinettes are 100% U.S. cotton, and are designed to protect the skin and provide comfort after an injury, as limbs swell, or to protect skin underneath a cast or bandage.
Tex-Care - Tubular Synthetic
Tubular synthetic stockinettes are often used to maintain a layer of protection between the skin and a cast, or as a compression bandage for an injury. Tex Care offers synthetic tubular stockinettes that provide many of the same benefits as cotton stockinettes, but are made from 100% ring-spun polyester.
Tex-Care - Antimicrobial Tubular Stockinette
Features: Alpha San® antimicrobial additive. 1×1 rib construction. 100% Ring Spun Polyester. Continuous 25 yard rolls. White dispenser box.
Tex-Care - Bias Cut Stockinette
A bias cut stockinette is most often used in post-op, under casts, to treat wounds or burns, or as outer wraps over other dressings. Cotton bias stockinettes are absorbent and provide a greater level of comfort and support for patients. Bias stockinettes consist of a single layer of fabric, which better conforms to the shape of a limb. All Tex-Care Medical bias stockinettes are made of 100% domestically grown cotton, and are manufactured both in the U.S. and abroad. Choosing Tex-Care Medical for your cotton bias stockinette needs will reduce logistical, geopolitical, and regulatory risks in your supply chain.
Infant Cap
Tex-Care - Newborn Hospital Hats
Newborn hospital hats help infants conserve heat and regulate body temperature. As hospital temperatures are much lower than temperatures inside the womb, infant caps are instrumental in helping babies adjust to a sudden drop in temperature. Additionally, a newborn’s head is much larger than its body size as compared to adults; hospital hats help infants regulate temperature shortly after birth. Hospital hats, also known as baby bonnets or boggin caps, are made with a soft, warm knit and are extremely comfortable. Newborn baby bonnets offer light compression to make infants feel safe and secure in their new environment. These pink, blue, and white striped polyester caps are lightweight, yet sturdy enough to be worn multiple times – even after Baby goes home.
Surgical Gown Cuffs
Tex-Care - Surgical Gown Cuffs
The gown-glove interface is the weakest point in the barrier system of gown and glove protection. Surgical gown cuffs help increase protection for surgeons, nurses, or anyone involved in surgical procedures. This one-size-fits-most solution can be worn comfortably no matter the wrist size of the medical professional.
