The RibFix Advantage Intrathoracic Fixation System is the first and only intrathoracic fixation system for the treatment of rib fractures, which offers a repair that accommodates: Smaller Incisions as compared to a traditional open rib procedure. The Thorecon Rigid Fixation System is designed with a focus on simplicity and ease of use. This single use system incorporates the proven performance of plates and screws with the banding effect of an amorphous cable. The cable is designed to be passed with minimal trauma and without the need of additional instrumentation. Once tensioned, the cable expands in width, creating greater surface area on the bone and reducing the risk of pull-through.
