With the Mini X-Flow nebulizer, one can eliminate the need to change ICP sample introduction components for different applications or different sample types.Whether your samples are clean waters, suspensions, sludges or samples with high dissolved solids, the Mini X-Flow nebulizer can handle them all - and with the best performance. Manufactured from acid resistant Ultem plastic, and a platinum iridium sample inlet coupled to a sapphire crystal, the Mini X-Flow nebulizer may run samples in any acid matrix (including hydro-fluoric acid). The Mini X-Flow nebulizer is designed to be used with specific Teflon® insert-ready SCP SCIENCE cyclonic spray chambers. PerformanceA comparison of the Mini X-Flow nebulizer detection limits with those of other popular nebulizers. Included in the study were glass concentric and Teflon® parallel path nebulizers. The Mini X-Flow fits directly on the spray chamber inlet port negating the need for the Teflon® adapter Figure 2). This inert spray chamber is unique because it’s made of 3 components (a top cap, middle body and bottom base) that can be assembled and dissembled easily. This design makes cleaning the spray chamber simple and trouble-free.CompatibilityWhith the SCP SCIENCE Ultem spray chamber, customers enjoy the ultimate in flexibility. By unscrewing the top and bottom, the body can be flipped to convert the spray chamber from left hand nebulizer entry to right hand entry allowing the spray chamber to be used in different manu-facturers’ instruments in the lab. The top can be converted from baffled to unbaffled by simply switching the top portion of the spray chamber. When the Mini X-Flow nebulizer is used with the SCP SCIENCE Ultem spray chamber (sold separately), the pair provides the best choice for HF resistant operation.AdvantagesCyclonic spray chambers provide superior wash out times compared to traditional Scott spray chambers.
