Damacryl - Model 910 - Absorbable Suture - Brochure

DAMACRYL 910 suture is synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture. It is composed of copolymer prepared and synthesized from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (derived from glycolic and lactic acids). This sutures are braided, dyed (violet) or undyed and coated with 30:70 poly(Glycolide-co-L-lactide) and calcium stearate. DAMACRYL 910 suture is non-antigenic, non-pyrogenic and elicits only a mild tissue reaction during the absorption process, and is completely absorbed in 54-70 days. The In vitro retention of strength is more than 65% in two weeks.
