The Legislative Decree n . 231 came into force on 4 July 2001. This Decree transposes into the Italian legislation the international convention issues relating to the liability of legal persons. The Decree has introduced a system of administrative liability of the Company, in addition to the criminal and civil liability of the person who committed the crime. The prediction of the administrative responsibility of the Decree, involves in the suppression of criminal offenses expressly provided herein the Companies that gain interest or benefit from the commission of the offense. Only a company able to demonstrate that it has adopted and effectively implemented , prior to the commission of the act, a "Model of Organization, Management and Control" designed to prevent the kind of crime that has occurred, can not be held responsible. flow-meter™ has thus established its own Organization model, consisting of a set of control procedures and rules, which must be followed by the company functions in business conduct. An essential element of the "Model of Organization, Management and Control” according to the Legislative Decree 231/ 01" is the "Code of Ethics" which is herewith made public and available to third-party organizations and employees.
