Novelia is a multi-dose closing tip system which avoids the need for preservatives in the drug and prevents bacterial contamination over the duration of treatment. Novelia, the preservative-free multidose eye dropper. Preservative-free formulations are key to protecting the patient’s ocular surface, as prolonged use of eyedrops containing preservatives can cause allergic reactions, irritations and can even damage patients’ eyes. Patients need a preservative-free solution with the convenience of a bottle. Therefore, we developed Novelia, a multidose eyedropper delivering consistent drops for better patient adherence. Novelia has been approved as a packaging of prescription and OTC products in many markets all over the world. The Novelia platform includes a broad range of configurations to handle different ophthalmic formulations (different valves, PureFlow® versions, bottle sizes, caps…).
