But, a regular program of inspection canidentify a problem before it occurs. This can save you time and money. This can be undertakenpre-commissioning or at plant turnarounds.With our equipment and highly skilled and knowledgeable in-house technical team we canprovide an effective and productive, integrated inspection service.Longer term contracts can be undertaken to carry out ongoing inspections and monitoring.Project EngineeringInnovation is at the heart of our business – we were born out of it. As technology has changedwe have adapted how we use it.Every project requires some engineering, but some projects require more. Using our in-housedesign capability and extensive experience, we can custom design a system to overcome the problem.Equipment RentalIf you have the skilled staff, we can provide the equipment to carry out inspections. Equipmentrental could be the most cost effective solution.All our rental packages are tailored to your requirements, and each piece of equipment isprovided transit cased with operating instructions and appropriate test certification.Our pool of rental equipment consists of the latest technology from trusted suppliers. Safety is of paramount importance to us. From the competentoperation of equipment to safe inspection practices, our teamof project engineers and technicians are trained to the lateststandards. They are trained to work in hazardous environmentsincluding explosive areas, confined spaces and areas requiringrope access techniques.BorescopesA borescope is a rigid inspection device which provides straight-line access through a hole toan inspection site, such as an engine, turbine or wall cavity.They use an optical system to transmit a high quality image from the lens at the inspection areaback to the eyepiece. In some instances a camera can be mounted on to the eyepiece to allowthe inspection to be visually documented. TractorsThe inspecting environment doesn’t always allow for a human to undertake the inspection.Either the environment is too small or unstable. Tractors provide an effective solution tothese problems.The rugged, four or six wheeled machines are small enough to fit inside pipes and are fittedwith zoom, pan and tilt cameras. Hazardous area inspections can be safely undertaken assome tractors have an explosion proof design.Offering minimal disruption tractors come in all shapes and sizes and relay information to theinspector via an umbilical. They are able to quickly and safely carry out inspections andremedial work in pipes, and surveys on tank walls and other sizeable structures.Non Destructive Testing / Non Destructive EvaluationNon Destruction Testing (NDT) and Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) are forms of inspectionwhich allow parts and material to be inspected and measured without significantlydamaging them.While NDT locates the fault, NDE locates the fault but also measures something about it, suchas the size, shape or orientation. We have a wide range of NDT and NDE equipment and theyprovide an excellent balance between quality control and cost effectiveness.Ultrasonic technologyWith most inspections we see the problems, but often the thickness of a metal or the inclusionof defects is of critical importance. The standard NDE technique for investigating this revolvesaround ultrasonic technology.This technology can be used to measure the thickness of metal in pipes and tanks, identifyingareas of corrosion and therefore potential leaks. We offer a range of inspection solutions whichuse ultrasonic technology.We also have technology which offers simpler solutions such as video recorders, digitalcameras, depth gauges, callipers and verniers. For three decades Inspectahire has carried outinspections in the Pharmaceuticals industry.From detecting defective welding on pipes andtanks to identifying overheating electrical cables,we have been called upon to undertake all typesof inspections.Our experience is not restricted to the Pharmaceuticals industry.
