From our humble beginnings in the basement of my parents’ home (see History) to our current 150,000 sq ft. headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey, it’s been an incredible journey.

In 1983, my parents Milton and Beverly Diamond took a chance on an idea: to become a source in the industry for alternate disposables. At that time in his professional career, my father specialized in the Clinical Chemistry and Blood Analyzer markets. His expertise led Globe Scientific to become one of the first companies to supply alternate cuvettes and sample cups for blood and chemistry analyzers, a specialty that required precise molds and exceptional products at the best prices. Together, my parents poured their heart and soul into the company and were determined to make their mark in the industry. Their goal was simple: to provide customers with high quality, well-priced alternate products and first class customer service from a company that values honesty and integrity. And when they were ultimately able to hire employees, they wanted to provide a place to work where you were treated like family. These were the special ingredients that, combined, became a great recipe... and the foundation for our future success.

Globe Scientific quickly became an extension of our family. My sister and I grew up in the business, held various roles and performed different job functions throughout our younger years, mostly after school and summer breaks. After graduating from business school, I joined the company full time; my sister Lisa joined a few years later as a CPA with broad experience in the accounting field. In December 2018 after 20 years with the company, I was promoted by my father to his position of President & CEO.

We’ve come a long way since 1983! Today, Globe Scientific has over 65+ employees throughout the U.S. and has proudly served the Clinical, Research, Hospital, Veterinary, Kit Manufacturing, Education and Specialty markets for more than 38 years.
