The Legislative Decree n . 231 came into force on 4 July 2001. This Decree transposes into the Italian legislation the international convention issues relating to the liability of legal persons. The Decree has introduced a system of administrative liability of the Company, in addition to the criminal and civil liability of the person who committed the crime. The prediction of the administrative responsibility of the Decree, involves in the suppression of criminal offenses expressly provided herein the Companies that gain interest or benefit from the commission of the offense.
