NO-DIG 2008 MOSCOW – The 26th International Conference and Exhibition for trenchless technologies

NO-DIG is the biggest specialized international conference and exhibition on Installation, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of underground utilities using trenchless technologies. The 26th International NO-DIG 2008 Moscow SHOW is specifically intended to become a tool for increasing the knowledge and further application of modern trenchless technologies in Russia and CIS countries.NO-DIG 2008 Moscow show will run alongside the specialized international exhibition `CityPipe-2008` in the same venue.

At the end of January 2008 more than 90 firms and companies have registered for the exhibition. Booked floor space is just under 2500 sq.m (net) inside, and 1000 sqm of outside the hall making NO-DIG 2008 in Moscow one of the largest in the recent history of the event. Some additional late bookings are expected to increase this space still further.

Overall, in conjunction with the `Piping Systems in Municipal Infrastructure: construction, diagnosis, repair and operation` CityPipe 2008 and the main Russian `Exhibition for Water Technology ECWATECH` which are being held in the Crocus Centre at the same time, the total exhibition space will be more than 3500 sq.m.

The number of `first degree courses` involving trenchless technologies is slowly growing worlwide. Within the worldwide trenchless academic community there is now considerable experience of the design and content of courses and a growing inventory of trenchless topics which need academic research and study. This session will have speakers from academia from Russia and around the world discussing their views for the future of trenchless education and the research which is needed to improve trenchless technology still further.

During NO-DIG 2008 it is planned to organize 4 field visits to trenchless technology sites in Moscow and the local region. The Registration Fee covers two visits. To help organise these visits you are requested to indicate your 2 desired preferences on your Registration Form. (Allocation will be on a first come, first served basis, if certain sites are oversubscribed)
