Amsel Medical Corp. today announced the appointment of Robert M. Rossell as Chief Commercial Officer to drive the current commercial phase and implement the company’s strategy to address the demand for minimally invasive, simple and secure occlusion.

“I’ve worked with Rob over many years. He brings a great depth of experience, commercial expertise and a track record of success.” said Amsel Medical CEO David Doster. “Under Rob’s commercial leadership, we are positioned to deliver the simple and secure solutions physicians and provider systems have been demanding.”

Rossell has held various leadership positions and provides great depth to the Amsel management team. Most recently Rossell was the former CEO of UVBioTek. Previous to this, Rob held leadership positions as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Surgical Specialties Corporation, and the U.S. General Manager for Nervomatrix. Rossell was a founding member of the AngioDynamics management team, taking that business from start-up to public offering, growing sales to more than $215 million over a successful 20-year period

“I’ve been watching Amsel Medical and the strides this team has been making in 2021 under David’s leadership,” said Rossell. “I know through first-hand experience the unmet need Amsel Medical is able to address. It’s exciting to join the Amsel team and participate in unlocking the value in our unique technology.”
