Apache Log4J Vulnerability’s

Spectrum Dynamics is aware of a critical vulnerability named “Log4Shell” discovered in a Log4J logging library extensively used in Java applications.

The security of our systems and customer data is a top priority for us, and we are taking this matter very seriously.

Upon becoming aware of the vulnerability, Spectrum Dynamics extensively assessed its product lines to determine the level of impact.

At this point, the D-SPECT Scanner Series and VERITON Scanner Series are not susceptible to the above CVE’s nor any other Log4J vulnerabilities, as Spectrum Dynamics does not utilize the Log4J library in its codebase.

Spectrum Dynamics will continue to monitor the situation and will make sure to update customers of any potential impact If needed.
