Aprevent VOIS received German NUB approval for the second year in a row!
Germany is one of the largest public healthcare spenders in the world. German NUB (Neue Untersuchungs- und Behandlungsmethode), which stands for New Methods of Treatment and Screening, is a payment scheme for remunerating cost-intensive 'innovative' services and technologies that are used in addition to the procedures included in existing DRG-case payment and is only open to technologies/procedures that are considered 'innovative and new' in Germany, with only 20% of all applicants receiving the approval.
The VOIS stands out in the eyes of reviewers with special features including standardized procedure with high result-reproducibility and implant adjustability (intra- and post-operative), making revision surgeries redundant, providing patients with long-term benefits and values rise above. For the year of 2022 a total of 11 medical centers have applied for the 'on-top“ payment.
