Community-Associated Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus Discussed in New Online Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
Phoenix, AZ, October 6th, 2019 -- Today the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video. Their newest production discusses community-associated Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA).
“CA-MRSA is usually spread by contact with infected people or things and surfaces that carry the bacteria,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “The risk of infection increases with activities or places that involve crowding, skin-to-skin contact, and shared equipment or supplies. This means athletes, daycare and school students, inmates, and military personnel in barracks are considered to be at higher risk of developing CA-MRSA. We hope this video helps to shed some light on ways to prevent its spread.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
