On March 31, 2020, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Federal Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry Navdeep Bains announced that Toronto-based Thornhill Medical, a leading innovator in medical technologies will produce over 1000 mobile compact ventilator systems as part of Canada’s response to fight COVID-19.
