Evacuation equipment is resistant against hospital bacteria
Did you know that people with low immunity are more susceptible to hospital bacteria? They are so susceptible that this results in fatalities every year. Probably more than you expect. According to the Belgian Scientific Institute of Public Health (WIV-ISP), 8 people A DAY die from a deadly infection which they contract at the hospital. Worldwide it also still claims thousands of victims.
More and more hospitals and care groups are taking action to prevent or fight bacteria. One of these measures is the increasing demand for anti-bacterial products. In other words, products which are resistant to common bacteria and fungi in the healthcare industry. Things like anti-bacterial bedding, anti-bacterial shower curtains or anti-bacterial clothing.
The evacuation device S-CAPEPOD and the evacuation mattress S-CAPEPLUS are equipped with anti-bacterial effects too. Both can be found in care facilities. So this is why the anti-bacterial addition was something that was bound to happen. The evacuation mattress for babies, which is currently in development, will come with the anti-bacterial addition. By adding this to evacuation equipment, we try to take the safety of your clients to the next level.
