HAL Allergy S.r.l. and Avalon Counseling start telephone counseling to support doctors and medical personnel in the regions most affected by coronavirus

 HAL Allergy S.r.l. announced the start of its ‘Prima Linea’ initiative offering telephone counseling for the highly committed hospital staff, who are engaged in the daily fight with the coronavirus in the most affected regions of Italy.

All health and non-health workers, in the hospitals in Italy are working relentlessly with great courage to cope with the increasing number of CoVid-19 patients and its consequences. The commitment of every involved staff member facing tremendous situations every day has led HAL Allergy S.r.l. and Avalon Counseling to set-up this initiative in order to support all of them.

The new service provider ‘Prima Linea’ gives doctors, nurses as well as cooks and other employees working in the hospitals the opportunity to talk confidentially about the exhausting shifts and emotionally devastating situations. Each conversation, free of charge, will be managed by a counseling expert in completely confidential setting as required by the code of ethics and the legislation on the processing of personal data.

Sabrina de Federicis, Country Manager of HAL Allergy S.r.l., states, “I think of the testimony of a young man in his early twenties, who is a cook in one of these hospitals and who, despite the declared anxiety, carries out his work with commitment. Of the nurses or doctors who sleep exhausted on the desks or who manage the sick and their families and the loneliness of everyone.”

The new hotline working from 17 to 20 pm every day, was activated on March 23rd for approximately one month and is a cooperation of HAL Allergy and Avalon Counseling.
