Novadiscovery, a leading health tech company using in silico clinical trials to predict drug efficacy and optimize clinical trial development, today announces that it has strengthened its leadership team with two senior appointments. Jim Bosley has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Modeling and Simulation and Charlotte Turnier has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, both effective immediately.

François-Henri Boissel, CEO, Novadiscovery, commented: “I am thrilled to welcome both Charlotte and Jim to the Novadiscovery team. Jim has extensive experience of systems biology modeling and knowledge of how to leverage this technology for use in pharmaceutical research, while Charlotte brings deep marketing experience and strong relationships with global healthcare companies. Both Jim and Charlotte will be critical to the team as we focus on accelerating and de-risking clinical development through our in silico clinical trials platform, Jinko®.

“A large majority of clinical trials fail due to poor trial design, weak interpretation of data signals or a lack of representativity of results to real populations, leading to delays in bringing potential new treatments to patients. Using in silico clinical trials to support drug development has the potential to bring speed, efficiency and cost savings to pharma and biotech companies. As we expand our offering into the US and beyond, Novadiscovery aims to become the go-to partner for pharma and biotech companies for in silico clinical trial support.”

In his new role, Jim will be supporting Novadiscovery’s expert modelers and developers bringing both an understanding of the current state of the art technology and innovative modeling ideas. Jim has over 15 years’ experience in systems biology modeling advancement and is a long-time advocate for the adoption of this technology in pharmaceutical research. Prior to joining Novadiscovery, he founded and led Clermont, Bosley LLC., a systems biology modeling consultancy working with global biotechs and pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of modeling and Simulation at Rosa & Co. and held a number of senior software and engineering roles at Pharsight, Entelos, and DuPont’s BioChemical Science and Engineering group. Jim holds a PhD, Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an MSc Electrical Engineering from the University of California-Irvine, and a BSc Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

In her new role, Charlotte will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans in line with Novadiscovery’s goals to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organisation as well as targeting specific market segments and geographic locations to expand its business in Europe and in the US. Charlotte joins Novadiscovery with 20 years of global pharmaceutical industry experience. Previously, Charlotte led a sales team in Europe for a global Contract Research Organization (CRO) to expand business relationships and grow clinical development opportunities with small, medium and large sized pharmaceutical companies spanning key therapeutic areas including oncology, rare disease, and general medicine. Charlotte holds an MSc in Economics and a postgraduate Masters in Business Applied to the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Technologies, combined with a University Diploma in Clinical Studies and Therapeutic Areas, from IAE Business School, Lyon University, France.

Jim Bosley, SVP modeling and Simulation, Novadiscovery, said: “I am very pleased to be joining Novadiscovery at this exciting time of growth. As the Company continues to build momentum with its Jinko platform and expand into the US market, it will be important to remain at the forefront of this modeling technology and I look forward to working with the talented team to ensure Jinko meets the needs of pharma and biotech companies around the world.”

Charlotte Turnier, SVP Sales and Marketing, Novadiscovery, said: “I am delighted to be working alongside a group of ambitious and motivated individuals at Novadiscovery to help propel the Jinko platform towards wider adoption in the clinical trial development space.”
