Recycling water coming from healthcare facilities is now possible thanks to Newster Group and Idro group
Ready for a New Game
While chasing the ball during a polo game, the mallets up in the air, the horses doing their best, the players do not imagine how and what contributes to the stunning shape of the grass, of the surrounding bushes, of the gardens. In this hypothetical and at the same realistic scenario placed in Pakistan in 2020, the water needed to irrigate the whole place*, which corresponds to more than six regular soccer fields and represents the biggest playing field among all sports, would be recovered from a nearby hospital which hosts 250 patients and produces a volume of about 210,000 litres of fluids each day.
All this is possible thanks to an advanced system developed by a new and promising joint venture between Newster Group, the over 20-year experienced Italian based company offering top solutions for the management and disposal of healthcare waste, and Idro Group, an Italian company specialized in the design, construction and supply of compact and mobile water treatment systems providing clean water solutions.
The system combines its efficiency with a plug-and-play philosophy. The plant delivered to the healthcare facilities is patented and needs no particular further efforts for its homologation and use according to the local laws. Newster Group’s personnel takes care of the installation and offers training for the hospital staff. Field hospitals, which need a particular flexibility in order to physically move the system, will find a plant that can be relocated from place to place, since everything is fit inside a container. In other words, the system is easy to transport and is delivered on-site ready for rapid installation and immediate start-up.
Risky fluids coming from laboratories, water coming from the kitchens and other liquids are treated in order to become safe and ready for reuse, giving a series of key advantages to people, communities and the environment on many levels: safety, life-quality, money-saving and more. Less water is wasted, more safety is involved thanks to the on-site treatment that converts dangerous fluids and removes the risk of contamination. The output is used for the watering of sport fields, gardens and plants, but also for vehicle washing, toilets and other purposes.
