CINCINNATI, OH – March 30, 2022 – Sense Neuro Diagnostics, a medical technology company focused on improving outcomes for stroke and brain injury patients, has been selected to participate in the Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University MedTech Accelerator. The flagship program of the Mayo Clinic and ASU Alliance for Health Care was designed to provide early-stage medical device and health care technology companies with an entrepreneurial curriculum and personalized business development plans to accelerate go-to-market and investment possibilities. Eight companies from around the world are participating in the third cohort of this program, which launched March 28, 2022.

The accelerator provides emerging companies with a multi-day immersive curriculum in health care entrepreneurship including lectures and workshops with world-class scientific and engineering experts; resources to navigate regulatory pathways; and tools for product commercialization and customer acquisition. Additionally, participants attend mentoring, business development, and networking events.

“The MedTech Accelerator has a track record of helping medical and healthcare startups achieve success through the partnership they create. Exceptional resources are made available for Sense to assist in technological, clinical and commercial development of our business,” says Geoff Klass, CEO, Sense Neuro Diagnostics. “Sense Neuro is excited for the opportunity to take part in this boot camp and co-develop device and market opportunities with the Mayo Clinic.”

The eight emerging companies, selected for their strong potential for next-generation medical technologies and services, will undergo an immersive curriculum delivered by MedTech Accelerator, followed by 12 months of close collaboration, guidance, and tracking. Follow-up meetings with the MedTech Accelerator team will help Sense Neuro and other startup participants track progress, refine strategy and guide development.
