Today it is our pleasure to announce the addition of Custom Ultrasonics to the Wassenburg Medical family

Custom Ultrasonics Inc. (CUI) was established in 1981 by Frank J. Weber to design, manufacture and distribute automated systems to clean and high-level disinfect complex devices including multi-channeled flexible endoscopes. The company is currently led by Alicia Nakonetschny.

Wassenburg Medical B.V., originally a family company, is now in a joint venture with Hoya since 2013. The company was established in 1984 by Gerrit Wassenburg and has developed into a highly regarded specialist in all aspects of automated endoscope reprocessing. In 2002, Gerrit passed the torch to his sons Arno and Ronald, who successfully lead the business today.

Custom Ultrasonics activities will be assumed by Wassenburg Medical Inc. including the staff, who will continue to serve the customers with the product portfolio they are familiar with and have the opportunity to market the Wassenburg portfolio in the future.
